I Love Art Gallery is a new interactive educational gallery that promotes the understanding and appreciation of the arts, and encourages the public to increase their own awareness of the place and significance of art in their own lives. The gallery is designed to learn about art as artists do – by touching, observing, exploring, thinking, and reading, and is modified for each new exhibition. The Hawai‘i State Art Museum, 250 Hotel St. Hours: Tues.-Sat., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and First Friday, the downtown gallery walk held on the first Friday of every month, from 5-9 p.m. Closed Sunday, Monday, and all state and federal holidays.
