'He Alo A He Alo: Face to Face, Visions & Portraits of Hawai‘i,' an exhibit of visionary artwork and portraits from the Art in Public Places Collection. The themes of the exhibit include Hawaiian heritage, Asian roots, social consciousness, and cultural traditions. The Hawai‘i State Art Museum, 250 Hotel St. Hours: Tues.-Sat., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and First Friday, the downtown gallery walk held on the first Friday of every month, from 5-9 p.m. Closed Sunday, Monday, and all state and federal holidays.
